Meet Our Team
Helen holds a Diploma of Teaching from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and, in 2003, received Fellow status (F.T.C.L.) from Trinity College London in recognition of her contribution to children’s development through drama worldwide. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (F.A.I.M.).
An accomplished and cross-cultural executive with a B.A. from the U.S. and a Diploma in Training & Development from the U.K., Nancy has 17 years of experience in management, teaching, directing, training, and supervision with the Helen O’Grady drama system.
Margaret holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Canada and a Certificate in Education from NIE. She is also a qualified school teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience.
Eugene majored in neuroscience from the University of Toronto and has an EMBA in innovation management from the Helsinki School of Economics. He had 10 years of senior management experience and consulted for businesses spanning the healthcare, food, and education industries.
Director of Curriculum
Lynette has been in the education industry for over 10 years, training and teaching, locally and regionally. She was recently awarded a Masters in Education (Early Childhood) from NIE, and recognises the impact of moulding young lives, and hopes to extend her knowledge and expertise in the field.
Lynette holds a B.A. in English and a Diploma in Education from NIE. Not only is she a qualified school teacher with over 20 years of experience, but also a television script writer for award-winning shows such as ‘Under One Roof’, ‘Phua Chu Kang’, and ‘Robbie and the Book of Tales’.
Director of Training
Francine is a Drama graduate of Laselle College of the Arts, and is both ACTA and TESOL certified. An experienced Speech & Drama specialist of the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy since 2006, she has trained more than 200 principals and teachers in the region.
Nicole holds a B.A. in English from Austin College, an M.A. in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture from the University of York, and a Diploma with Distinction in TESOL. She has taught with the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy regionally and is currently a curriculum designer and developer.
Farhana is an English Language Linguistics graduate from the National University of Singapore, holds a Diploma with Distinction in TESOL, and certification under Trinity Guildhall in Speech & Drama. She is experienced in teaching a variety of early childhood programmes, including Speech & Drama, music, movement, and puppetry.
Magdalene is a graduate of National University of Singapore and has been in the education industry for 4 years. She has a background in wildlife education and is experienced in conducting programmes for pre-schoolers to tertiary students and teacher training.
Michelle is a graduate of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has been in the education industry for 4 years. She has taught children of all ages as a wildlife educator, and has also conducted training programmes for adults.
